A traditional Butterdish featuring the old rose design. Handmade by Nicholas Mosse Pottery, located in the Old Mill in Bennettsbridge, Co Kilkenny. The Old Rose Design was created by Nicholas’s wife Susan over 25 years ago. To this day, it is still the most sought after pattern. All pieces by Nicholas Mosse Pottery are sponge decorated and hand painted, using a very old technique dating back to the 18th Century, making each item unique.

Normal shipping for a standard-sized package is via the Irish An Post standard post. Â While we will endeavour to ship within two working days, current circumstances due to COVID 19 means you should allow up to 5 working days for dispatch.

We strongly advise that you get a tracking code when returning items as we cannot be responsible for packages that do not arrive. We will refund or exchange any item purchased online from our website if you return it to us within 14 days of receiving it.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be as new, not have been worn outside and be in the same condition that you received it. Â It must also be in the original box that was shipped to you. You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Â We do not provide free
